How Runway gave their brand a much-needed lift and helped their identity take flight.
An incubation and acceleration space for tech startups, Runway has become a crossroads for startups, corporate innovators, and investors—bridging the gap between startups and large companies. However, they reached out to us because their existing brand and logo didn’t reflect this.
The new logo delivered on the concepts of acceleration and connection through the continuous line linking the first and last letters of the company's name. The sans-serif font also gave the brand an enduringly modern appeal.
A full set of brand identity tools was developed and captured in a detailed brand guidelines document. Beyond the logo and usage, the guidelines also provide systems for developing future ads, presentations, and other branded materials.
